ICG Inducts First Indigenous Pollution Control Vessel 'Samudra Pratap'

• Indian Coast Guard (ICG) inducted its first indigenously designed and built Pollution Control Vessel (PCV) 'Samudra Pratap' at Goa Shipyard Limited.
• The induction strengthens India's maritime pollution response capabilities and commitment to self-reliance in defence manufacturing.
• 'Samudra Pratap' will enforce marine pollution control, maritime law, search and rescue, and safeguard India's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
