IMD Warns of Rain, Snow, Dense Fog Across North India Amid Multiple Western Disturbances

• The IMD forecasts a prolonged spell of unsettled weather for north and northwest India, including rain, snowfall, thunderstorms, hail, and persistent fog.
• Three western disturbances will impact the western Himalayan region, bringing scattered to widespread rain and snow to Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
• Uttar Pradesh is under a warning for isolated light rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, gusty winds, and isolated hailstorm activity, especially in east Uttar Pradesh.
• Dense to very dense fog is expected to persist in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan on February 4, and in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, west Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh until February 5.
• Delhi NCR will experience partly cloudy skies with moderate to dense fog in the mornings from February 4-6, along with strong surface winds on February 6.
