Delhi-NCR: GRAP Stage III invoked amid 'Severe' air quality
- •GRAP Stage III restrictions have been invoked in Delhi-NCR due to a sharp dip in air quality, with the AQI reaching 401 (Severe).
- •Key restrictions include schools up to Class 5 shifting to hybrid mode and a ban on non-essential construction and demolition work.
- •BS III petrol and BS IV diesel four-wheelers are restricted in Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and Gautam Buddh Nagar.
- •The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) implemented these measures to prevent further deterioration of air quality.
