Industrial gas prices for Gujarat Gas customers are set to nearly double, increasing to approximately ₹85-88 per standard cubic metre (SCM) plus VAT, from the previous rate of about ₹41.
The government is taking steps to secure supplies, find alternate imports, expand exports, and prevent hoarding to minimize disruption.
