• The team, known as the ‘Ambassador of the Indian Air Force’, has been amazing audiences for 30 years with breathtaking maneuvers.
• Raised in 1996, SKAT is one of the few nine-aircraft aerobatic formations globally.
• The team started with four HAL HJT-16 Kiran Mk-2 trainers and expanded to nine aircraft by 1998, achieving separate squadron status in 2006.
