Jaishankar Kicks Off Diplomatic Tour in Paris, Visits Textile Exhibition

• EAM S Jaishankar began a six-day diplomatic tour in Paris, visiting the ‘Ce qui se trame – woven stories between India and France’ textile exhibition.
• He lauded the exhibition for showcasing India's rich textile heritage, craftsmanship, and strong cultural ties with France.
• In France, Jaishankar will meet French leadership, including Jean-Noël Barrot, to discuss the India-France Strategic Partnership, security, defence, space, and green energy.
• He is also set to address the 31st French Ambassadors’ Conference as the Guest of Honour.
• Following France, Jaishankar will travel to Luxembourg for talks with Deputy PM Xavier Bettel and to engage with the Indian community.
