J&K Govt Honors 56 on Republic Day for Bravery and Service
- •The Jammu and Kashmir government honored 56 individuals on Republic Day for their bravery and service in various fields.
- •Adil Hussain Shah was posthumously recognized for bravely confronting terrorists during the April 2025 Pahalgam attack, receiving Rs 1 lakh and a certificate.
- •Police Sub-Inspector Nikhil Kumar also received an award for bravery, including Rs 51,000 and a certificate.
- •Awards were given across diverse categories including media, public service, literature, sports, performing arts, art and craft, social reform, and industrial entrepreneurship.
