Karnataka Man Kills Wife Over Loan Dispute, Buries Body in House Compound

• A man in Vijayapura district, Karnataka, allegedly killed his wife and buried her inside their house compound.
• The deceased was identified as Sarojini Ratnakar (45), and the accused as Prabhu Ratnakar (46).
• Prabhu reportedly killed Sarojini on January 24 by hitting her with an iron rod after a heated argument over loans taken in her name.
• He fabricated a story about her disappearance, even filing a missing complaint and joining the search.
• Police grew suspicious, interrogated Prabhu, and he confessed, leading to the exhumation of the body and his arrest.
