Karnataka Police Busts Rs 30 Lakh Gold Theft, One Arrested
- •Sidlaghatta Police in Karnataka uncovered a major gold jewelry theft from a woman's bag during a bus journey.
- •A special police team arrested one accused and recovered approximately 240 grams of gold, valued at around Rs 30 lakh.
- •The victim discovered the theft after an unknown woman allegedly pushed her while alighting from a bus.
- •A case was registered at Sidlaghatta Rural Police Station under Crime Number 263/2025 and Section 303(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
- •Police also arrested a suspect in connection with the suspicious death of a woman in SP Naidu Layout, Duravani Nagar, on January 3, 2026.
