•A 40-year-old man, Umesh Badiger, allegedly stabbed his pregnant wife during a trivial argument in Belagavi, Karnataka.
•After the incident, he died by suicide by jumping into a nearby well.
•The injured wife has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
•Fire and emergency services, along with police, retrieved the body from the well.
•A case has been registered at Ramdurg Police Station.
