Naidu Alleges "Bathroom Cleaner Chemicals" in Tirupati Laddus Under YSRCP Rule

• Andhra Pradesh CM N. Chandrababu Naidu accused the previous YSRCP government of using adulterated ghee containing "chemicals used for cleaning bathrooms" in Tirupati laddus.
• Naidu stated that this adulterated ghee was used for about five years, tarnishing the reputation of Lord Venkateswara Swami.
• He cited a National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) report indicating the use of animal fat in the ghee, which is cheaper than plant-derived alternatives.
• Naidu claimed Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's uncle, Y.V. Subba Reddy, admitted to the adulteration, despite YSRCP leaders denying it.
• A one-member committee will be formed to take corrective measures, with Naidu vowing to prosecute those responsible for this "major crime against faith."
