Newlywed Poisons Mother-In-Law, Flees With Jewellery & Cash in Alwar

• A newlywed bride in Alwar, Rajasthan, allegedly poisoned her mother-in-law and fled with gold-silver jewellery and Rs 30,000 cash.
• The accused, Rekha, reportedly served phenyl-laced Khichdi to her mother-in-law a month after marrying Vikramjeet.
• Rekha, who was already married with two children, entered a live-in agreement before marrying Vikramjeet in a Gurudwara.
• After the incident, Rekha's family allegedly demanded Rs 3 lakh from the victim's family and threatened them with false police cases.
• An investigation is currently underway into the shocking incident.
