PM Modi Backs Gaza Peace Initiative at Israel's Knesset, Calls it 'Just, Durable Solution'

•PM Modi addressed the Palestine issue at Israel’s Knesset, endorsing the Trump administration-led Gaza Peace Initiative.
•Modi, on his second state visit to Israel, is the first Indian PM to address the Israeli parliament.
•He stated the initiative offers a just and durable peace for the region, including addressing the Palestine issue, and has UN Security Council endorsement.
•The Prime Minister received a standing ovation and was conferred the “Speaker of the Knesset Medal” for strengthening India-Israel strategic relations.
•The Gaza Peace Initiative is a 20-point roadmap introduced by Donald Trump in October 2025, focusing on reconstruction with a non-UN oversight body.
