Stalin Demands Withdrawal of FCRA Amendment Bill, Calls it 'Direct Attack' on Minorities

Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin strongly condemned the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026.
•
Stalin labeled the Bill a 'direct attack' on Christian NGOs, Churches, and other minority institutions.
•
He compared it to previous attempts to take over Waqf properties, accusing the BJP government of stifling foreign funding.
•
Stalin urged PM Modi to withdraw the 'unjust and arbitrary' Bill immediately, citing plans to push it through a special Parliament session.
•
DMK MP Kanimozhi and Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan also criticized the Bill, while the Union government defended it as necessary for national security.
