•The stolen insulin Glargine injection is temperature-sensitive, requiring storage between 2°C and 8°C; improper handling could compromise quality and patient safety.
•Sanofi India confirmed an FIR has been lodged and is cooperating with CDSCO, emphasizing patient safety as paramount.
•Patients are advised to procure the product only from authorized sources, ensure proper invoices, and report any adverse drug reactions.
•The consignment was stolen from Jagmohanpur, Keonjhar Road, Odisha, while en route to Kolkata, and is currently under police investigation.
