Telangana Budget Soars to ₹3.24 Lakh Crore, Prioritizes Key Development Projects
•Telangana government presented a ₹3.24 lakh crore budget for 2026-27, an increase of ₹20,000 crore from the previous year.
•Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka presented the budget, with revenue expenditure at ₹2,34,406 crore and capital expenditure at ₹47,267 crore.
•Key allocations include ₹23,179 crore for agriculture, ₹21,285 crore for energy, and ₹17,907 crore for Municipal Administration and Urban Development.
•The Medical and Health Department received ₹13,679 crore.
•Telangana's GSDP reached ₹17,82,198 crore in 2025-26 with a 10.7% growth rate, and per capita income stood at ₹4,18,931 with a 10.2% growth.
