• Telangana CM Revanth Reddy accused the BRS of using illegal phone-tapping to blackmail businessmen, intimidate rivals, and amass hundreds of crores.
• Reddy dubbed BRS as "Blackmail Rajakeeya Samiti," alleging surveillance was a tool for political and financial gain, with Rs 1,500 crore deposited into party accounts.
• He claimed phone tapping targeted opposition leaders, high court judges, journalists, film stars, and even private conversations, calling it an "atrocious" act.
• CM Reddy also criticized the BRS and BJP as "two sides of the same coin," alleging they work together to weaken Congress in Telangana.
• The allegations come after former CM K Chandrasekhar Rao was questioned by a SIT in connection with the phone-tapping case, with several BRS leaders also quizzed.
