TRAI's Delhi Telecom Test: Jio Leads 5G, Airtel Excels in Uploads, MTNL Struggles

• TRAI conducted an Independent Drive Test (IDT) in Delhi from January 6-9, covering 249.1 km to assess mobile network performance.
• Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea achieved 100% Call Setup Success Rate (CSSR), with Reliance Jio at 99.22%; MTNL lagged significantly at 82.82%.
• VIL recorded 0% Drop Call Rate (DCR), while Airtel and RJIL were below 1%; MTNL failed the benchmark with 6.34%.
• Reliance Jio led 5G download speeds at 266.99 Mbps (361.84 Mbps at hotspots), followed by Airtel at 231.97 Mbps.
• Airtel topped upload speeds at 31.39 Mbps; Jio had the lowest latency at 20.62 ms.
