Centre Plans Underground Rail Tracks for Northeast Corridor: Vaishnaw
- •Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced plans for underground railway tracks along a 40-km strategic corridor in West Bengal.
- •The corridor, often called the "chicken's neck" via Siliguri, connects the Northeast with the rest of India.
