Kalyan-Shilphata Metro: 'Metro 12A' announced, connecting Dombivli to Navi Mumbai

• Deputy CM Eknath Shinde approved 'Metro 12A' from Dahisar Mori to Kalyan Shilphata, extending the Kalyan to Taloja route.
• The project, estimated at Rs 8414.53 crore, received administrative approval, as confirmed by MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde.
• MP Shinde inspected various ongoing development projects in Kalyan-Dombivli, including metro, railways, and roads, with MMRDA sanctioning Rs 4897 crore.
• The extended Metro 12A route will benefit areas like Dombivli, Manpada, and Kalyan Phata, with Metro 12 and 12A converging at Khutari.
• This 18.4 km route will connect to Nilje Depot, Metro 14, and the Thane Bullet Train Station, with 10.5 km currently under construction.
