TTD Offers Subsidized Idols, PA Systems to Hindu Temples

• Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will provide public address systems, idols, and ritual items to Hindu temples at subsidized rates.
• A 90% subsidy on PA systems (originally ₹25,000) is available for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) applicants, requiring recommendation letters.
• Stone idols of Sri Venkateswara Swamy and Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru (up to 5 ft) will be provided free of cost.
• Stone idols of other deities will be supplied with a 75% subsidy; SC/ST beneficiaries from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana receive all stone idols free.
• Mutts, trusts, and ashrams will receive idols of various deities at a 50% subsidy.
