Thackeray-Shinde Factions Unite in Junnar, BJP-NCP Outmaneuvered!

Shiv Sena (Shinde) and Shiv Sena (Thackeray) factions formed an unexpected alliance in Junnar Panchayat Samiti elections.
•
The alliance outmaneuvered BJP and NCP (Ajit Pawar faction), who are part of the Mahayuti, keeping them out of power.
•
Kamal Shelkande of the Shinde faction was elected Chairman, and Amit Dhole of the Thackeray faction became Deputy Chairman.
•
MLA Sharad Sonawane confirmed the decision was made with senior consent to hoist Shiv Sena's saffron flag over the Panchayat Samiti.
•
Deputy Chairman Amit Dhole clarified that despite the power-sharing, he would remain with the Shiv Sena (Thackeray) party.
