• Victim Sanjay Shamrao Pawar, 34, was lured into marriage by intermediaries Datta Pawar and Pathan, who demanded 4 lakh rupees.
• The marriage was solemnized by notary in Pandharpur on December 10, after which religious rituals were performed.
• On December 15, Rupali disappeared with 4 lakh rupees cash and gold jewelry, leaving the family stunned.
• A complaint of fraud has been registered against five people, including the bride, at Ammalner Police Station; API Bhargav Sapkal is investigating.
