Highly Educated Woman, Man Conspire 70 Lakh Land Fraud in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

• An MSc-educated woman from Tirupati and a man orchestrated a 70 lakh rupee land fraud in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
• The Economic Offenses Wing exposed an interstate gang creating a fake land deal for a 13-acre plot using a 'dummy' landowner.
• V. Lata, the highly educated woman, was paid 13 lakh rupees to pose as the dummy landowner, Sayanna Raichuri, using a fake Aadhaar card.
• Gajalakshmi Credit Co-operative Society in Bengaluru allegedly assisted in cashing fake cheques involved in the fraudulent transaction.
• Three accused, Raju Jadhav, Vaishali Jadhav, and V. Lata, have been arrested; search for V. Lata's husband, Suresh, is ongoing.
