• Retired Police Sub-Inspector Bhimrao Karbhari Ghuge (62) found dead in a dry well in Balapur Shivara, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
• Ghuge, who retired in 2023 from Krantichowk Police Station, went missing after visiting his daughter.
• Family's repeated attempts to contact him were unsuccessful; his body was discovered Friday morning.
• Police and fire department retrieved the body; Ghuge's motorcycle and a rope were found nearby.
• Chikalhana police registered an accidental death case and are investigating whether it was suicide or murder.
