Sambhajinagar Snatching: Woman Loses 3 Lakh Gold Necklace During Evening Walk

• Pallavi Krishna Tehere (25) had her 17-gram gold necklace snatched while walking with her mother-in-law, Shobha Tehere, in Ulkanagari, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
• The incident occurred around 9 PM on Tuesday (March 10) near Omkareshwar Temple, Vishwabharti Colony, during an evening stroll after dinner.
• Two men on a two-wheeler forcefully snatched the necklace, valued at approximately 2 lakh 80 thousand rupees, and fled towards Chetak Ghoda Chowk.
• A case has been registered at Jawaharnagar Police Station, and police are investigating using CCTV footage from the area.
• Locals report 3-4 theft incidents monthly in Ulkanagari, raising concerns about the area becoming a 'safe zone' for thieves due to easy escape routes.
