Co-pilot Shambhavi Pathak Dies in Ajit Pawar's Plane Crash at Baramati

• Captain Shambhavi Pathak, 25, co-pilot of the ill-fated Learjet 45 carrying Ajit Pawar, died in a plane crash in Baramati.
• The plane, operated by Delhi-based charter firm VSR, crashed and caught fire around 8:45 AM while attempting to land at Baramati Airport due to a technical malfunction.
• Shambhavi Pathak received her early education at Air Force Bal Bharati School in Gwalior and later pursued aviation studies at Mumbai University and New Zealand International Commercial Pilot Academy.
• She held Commercial Pilot Licenses from both NZ CAA and DGCA, and also worked as an Assistant Flight Instructor at the Madhya Pradesh Flying Club.
• Ajit Pawar, his PSO Vidit Jadhav, assistant Pinky Mali, pilot-in-command Captain Sumit Kapoor, and five other crew members were on board the plane.
