Jaydev Thackeray's Bodyguard's Pistol Stolen at Bandra Station; Thief Arrested

• Sushant Jayram Gaikwad, Jaydev Thackeray's bodyguard (SRPF, Navi Mumbai), had his bag and government pistol stolen at Bandra Station.
• Gaikwad fell asleep on the platform after firing practice; thief Ashish Pind Kashyap stole the bag containing a pistol, 29 cartridges, and personal items worth ₹1.75 lakhs.
• Kashyap, a caterer, was scared upon seeing the pistol and cartridges, so he hung the stolen bag on a parked police vehicle and fled.
• Bandra Railway Police immediately formed teams, scanned CCTV footage, and identified Ashish Kashyap.
• Police successfully traced and apprehended the thief within hours, recovering the weapon and earning praise for their prompt action.
