Pune Hero: Military Officer Saves Driver, Recovers Lakhs After Car Plunges into Canal

• A horrific accident occurred in Pune's Wanwadi area when a car plunged into Bhairoba Nala from a bridge.
• Military officer Nair Ashish Kumar Yadav, passing by, noticed the accident and immediately descended into the canal.
• Yadav, with the help of locals, rescued the unconscious and bleeding driver from the damaged car.
• He applied first aid using his military training and arranged for the severely injured driver's transport to a hospital.
• Yadav also safely recovered 1 to 1.5 lakh rupees in cash from the car and returned it to the driver after he regained consciousness.
