• A police van transporting scamsters Suresh Kute and Archana Kute met with an accident on the Ahmedpur-Ahilyanagar National Highway in Beed.
• Two youths on a two-wheeler were seriously injured after colliding with the police van in the Yelamb Ghat area.
• The Kute couple, accused in a 3,500 crore rupee financial irregularities case at Dnyanradha Bank, were being transported from Kaij Court to Beed.
