Sindhudurg ZP-PS Results: Independents Score Big Wins, BJP Leads Overall

• Sindhudurg Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections concluded peacefully with 61.98% voter turnout.
• BJP is currently leading in the overall results, but independents secured significant victories.
• In Sawantwadi taluka, independents won both Madkhol Zilla Parishad (Shivani Naik) and two Panchayat Samitis (Avani Raul, Prathamesh Sawant).
• Eight Zilla Parishad candidates, mostly from BJP and one from Shinde Shiv Sena, won unopposed.
• Sawantwadi (69.54%) and Vengurla (69.03%) recorded the highest voter turnouts, while Vaibhavwadi had the lowest (54.79%).
