Biocon Q3: Revenue Up 9%, Misses Estimates; Exceptional Loss Hits Profit

•Biocon reported a mixed Q3 performance, with revenue and operating profit missing street estimates.
•Net profit rose to ₹143.8 crore, significantly higher than ₹25.1 crore year-on-year, but below CNBC-TV18's estimate of ₹167.5 crore.
•The company recorded a one-time exceptional loss of ₹293.4 crore during the quarter.
•Revenue grew 9.2% to ₹4,173 crore, missing the estimated ₹4,556.2 crore.
•Biocon's board approved acquiring the remaining ~2% stake in Biocon Biologics Limited (BBL), making it a wholly owned subsidiary.
