IHC becomes Sammaan Capital promoter with ₹8,850 crore investment

• Abu Dhabi-based International Holding Company PJSC (IHC) will become the promoter of Sammaan Capital Ltd. (formerly Indiabulls Housing Finance) after acquiring a 41.5% stake.
• The investment, routed via Avenir Investment RSC Ltd., is valued at nearly $1 billion (₹8,850 crore) for the initial 41.5% stake, with plans to increase it to 63.3%.
• Sammaan Capital has already received ₹5,652 crore, with an additional ₹3,198 crore expected over 18 months upon warrant conversion.
• IHC will assume strategic control, including board-level influence, marking a new phase of growth for Sammaan Capital.
• Sammaan Capital plans to diversify from a pure-play mortgage lender to a broad NBFC, aiming to be among India's top three NBFCs by FY29.
