NTPC Completes 23 MW Solapur Solar Project, Boosts Capacity

• State-owned power major NTPC Ltd commissioned the second and final phase of its 23 MW Solapur Solar PV Project in Maharashtra.
• The remaining 13 MW capacity of the Solapur project was declared commercially operational from December 25, 2025, completing the entire 23 MW.
• This addition increases NTPC’s total installed capacity to 60,796 MW (standalone) and 85,623 MW (group).
• NTPC reported a Q2 net profit of ₹4,653 crore and EBITDA of ₹10,019 crore, with margins expanding to 25.6%.
