Omnitech Engineering shares debut at discount; IPO subscribed 1.14 times

•Omnitech Engineering shares listed on Dalal Street on Thursday, March 5, at an 11% discount to its IPO price on NSE (₹202) and 10% on BSE (₹205) against ₹227.
•The ₹583-crore IPO, open from Feb 25-27, was subscribed 1.14 times overall, with the retail portion at 2.86 times.
•The company raised ₹174.6 crore from anchor investors including Societe Generale and Allianz Global before the issue opened.
•Proceeds will fund two new manufacturing facilities in Rajkot, solar panels, new equipment, and debt repayment.
•Omnitech Engineering manufactures high-precision components for global OEMs, serves 256 customers in 24 countries, and has an order book of ₹1,764.78 crore.
