Siemens Q3: New Orders Jump 19%, Revenue Up; Profit Dips on One-Time Charge

Siemens Limited reported a 54.8% year-on-year decline in net profit to ₹279 crore for the October–December period, down from ₹614 crore.
•
The profit dip was largely due to an exceptional one-time charge of ₹74.3 crore linked to new labor codes.
•
Revenue for the quarter rose 14% year-on-year to ₹3,830 crore, with EBITDA increasing 9.3% to ₹422.4 crore.
•
New orders grew 19% year-on-year to ₹4,829 crore, driven by Digital Industries and Smart Infrastructure, with an order backlog of ₹43,004 crore.
•
Shares of Siemens Limited traded 3.22% lower at ₹3,193.90 on the NSE following the earnings announcement.
