GPT Infra Bags ₹1,804-Cr MCGM Flyover Deal; Shares Dip

• Kolkata-based GPT Infraprojects Ltd secured a ₹1,804.48 crore flyover contract from the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM).
• The project involves constructing a flyover along LBS Marg, connecting Kalpana Talkies Kurla to Pankhe Shah Dargah Ghatkopar West.
• The contract, a joint venture, will be executed over 36 months, with GPT Infraprojects holding a 26% share worth ₹469.16 crore.
• GPT Infra also recently won a ₹199.17 crore contract from North Eastern Railway for two major bridges over the Rapti river.
• Despite the new contract, GPT Infraprojects shares closed down 3.39% on BSE on December 18.
