• Dharmendra, who passed away at 89, was previously honored with the Padma Bhushan in 2012.
• Malayalam superstar Mammootty and Bollywood singer Alka Yagnik were named for the Padma Bhushan 2026.
• R Madhavan, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and late actor Satish Shah (posthumous) are among the Padma Shri awardees.
• The awards will be presented by President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan later this year.
