Veteran Actor Sunil Thapa, Known for 'Mary Kom' Role, Dies at 68 in Kathmandu

• Veteran Nepali actor Sunil Thapa passed away at 68 in Kathmandu due to a suspected heart attack.
• He had a career spanning over 40 years, appearing in more than 300 Nepali films, and also worked in Bollywood and Bhojpuri cinema.
• Thapa was known for his role as 'Rate Kaila' in Chino and played a coach in Priyanka Chopra's 'Mary Kom'.
• He was brought unconscious to Norvic Hospital, where an ECG confirmed his death; cardiac arrest is suspected.
• Thapa also appeared in 'The Family Man season 3' and was the chairperson of the Everest Film Academy.
