• Eight people, including assistant director Vincy Nivedha, were taken into custody by the Anti-Narcotics Intelligence Unit (ANIU) South.
• Police seized methamphetamine, ganja, cannabis, an LSD stamp, and nine mobile phones during the operation.
• The arrests followed a decoy operation after a suspect, Vigneshwaran, revealed narcotics were sourced from Venkatesh Kumar.
