CSMT-Panvel AC Local Returns: Air-Conditioned Travel from January 26

• AC local services will resume on the CSMT-Panvel Harbor Line from January 26 after a three-and-a-half-year hiatus.
• The reintroduction addresses increasing demand from Navi Mumbai and Mumbai suburban commuters for air-conditioned travel.
• 14 non-AC local services on the CSMT-Panvel route will be replaced by AC locals, including two during peak hours.
• AC local services on the Harbor Line will operate exclusively from Monday to Saturday.
• Western Railway will also add 12 new AC local services on the Churchgate-Virar route, increasing its total to 121.
