Ghansoli-Airoli Creek Project: Navi Mumbai's Traffic Solution by 2027

• A new 3.5-kilometer, six-lane road between Ghansoli and Airoli is under construction to ease Navi Mumbai's traffic.
• The project, costing 550 crore rupees, is jointly funded by Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation and CIDCO.
• Expected to be completed by 2027, it will significantly reduce congestion on Thane-Belapur and Sion-Panvel roads.
• The new route will benefit commuters traveling between Ghansoli-Mahape to Thane and Mulund.
• This will be the fourth creek bridge in the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation area, crucial for future traffic from Navi Mumbai International Airport.
