Navi Mumbai: Wife's Tragic End After Husband's Death, Child Orphaned Amid Harassment

• Pushpa Shirole, 38, committed suicide in Kamothe, Navi Mumbai, allegedly due to harassment from in-laws over property disputes after her husband's death.
• Her husband, Satish Shirole, passed away in June 2023 from a heart attack, leaving Pushpa with two young children.
• In-laws (mother-in-law Kondabai, sister-in-law Pratibha, and brothers-in-law Sandeep and Vinayak) allegedly pressured her for insurance money and house ownership.
• Pushpa had filed a complaint with Kamothe police in August 2023 regarding the harassment.
• Her body was found in the sea near Kulaba area on February 17, a day after she told her daughter she would not return home.
