Telgi Stamp Scam 2.0: Mumbai Police Bust Crores-Worth Fake Stamp Racket After 14-Day Chase

• Mumbai Police uncovered a fake stamp scam reminiscent of the Telgi Stamp Scam, seizing fake stamps worth 27 lakh rupees.
• An interstate gang was creating fake postal stamps in the name of the Indian Postal Department.
• Five individuals, including Rakesh Bind, Shamshuddin Ghaffar, Shahid Raza, Mohammed Shahabuddin Sheikh, and Virender Prasad, have been arrested from Mumbai, Bihar, Delhi, and Ghaziabad.
• Police conducted a 14-day surveillance in Delhi to apprehend the accused who constantly changed their numbers and addresses.
• Bank accounts of the accused show suspicious transactions worth 7 to 8 crores, indicating a larger network.
