• A mother, Rupa Hanumant Gowdar, strangled her three children, Samruddhi (5), Preetam (4), and Sukshit (2), to death in Hiremuchalaguddu village, Badami taluk, Bagalkot district.
• The incident occurred between 10 AM and 1 PM on Sunday when Rupa's husband and mother-in-law were not home.
• After killing her children, Rupa attempted suicide by consuming diesel and was found unconscious by her husband and neighbors.
