Bihar Farmers to Receive ₹9,000 Annually; Magadh Farmers Hail Income Boost

• Bihar government introduces Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur Samman Nidhi, providing an additional ₹3,000 annually to farmers.
• This new scheme, announced by Finance Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav, is on the lines of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi.
• With the added ₹3,000, farmers will now receive a total of ₹9,000 annually, combining with the existing ₹6,000 from PM Kisan.
• Farmers in the Magadh region, including Anil Kumar from Tikari block, Gaya, and Vishwanath Kumar Sudhakar, express happiness and gratitude, stating it will boost income and aid farming expenses.
• Kishan Ram Dhyan Mahto from Aurangabad district believes the increased assistance will significantly relieve farmers and help double their income through better use of funds for fertilizers and seeds.
