Khagaria Farmers to Get Vermicompost Training for Fertilizer Crisis, Income Boost

• ATMA project offers vermicompost training to Khagaria farmers to combat chemical fertilizer shortage and rising costs.
• The training aims to make farmers self-reliant, enabling them to produce organic fertilizer for personal use and earn income by selling surplus.
• Two batches will train 60 farmers over 10-12 days, covering vermicompost production, raw material selection, earthworm care, and marketing.
• Farmers will receive free meals and potential financial assistance directly to their bank accounts during the training.
• Application requires Aadhar, photo, bank passbook, educational certificates, caste/residential certificates, and NREGA/e-Shram card.
