MP Scheme: Get Improved Breed Cows/Buffaloes for Just Rs 100, Boost Milk Production
•Madhya Pradesh government's Artificial Insemination scheme offers improved breed cows and buffaloes like Gir, Sahiwal, Murrah, Bhadawari for just 100 rupees.
•Dr. Matadeen Patel, Veterinary Field Officer of Chhatarpur, states the scheme increases milk production by 1 to 1.5 kilograms.
•Livestock farmers can contact their nearest veterinary center when their animal is in heat; a team will perform artificial insemination at home.
•Timely artificial insemination ensures higher conception rates and produces improved breeds from indigenous ones.
•The scheme includes an option for 'Sex Sorted Semen' to ensure only female offspring; minimum fee is Rs 100, with an additional Rs 150 for ambulance use.
