MSP Gram-Mustard Sale Stalled: Girdawari Delay Blocks Farmer Registration
•
Online registration for farmers to sell gram and mustard at MSP for Rabi 2026 is stalled due to incomplete 'Girdawari' (crop inspection) work.
•
The deadline for completing Girdawari has been extended from March 5 to March 10, 2026, by the Revenue (Group-1) Department.
•
Approximately 13% of general and 18% of digital land parcels (khasras) still await crop inspection under the AgriStack Digital Crop Survey.
•
Distressed farmers in Jodhpur and Phalodi, with mustard harvesting nearly complete, are eagerly awaiting the start of online registration.
•
Officials assure that the registration process will begin soon after the Girdawari work is fully completed within the stipulated deadline.
