Nandi Shala Yojana: Farmers Get 75% Subsidy on Improved Bulls

Animal Husbandry Department's Nandi Shala Yojana offers improved breed bulls to farmers and livestock owners.
•
Scheme aims to produce high-quality calves (heifers or bull calves) by cross-breeding improved bulls with indigenous cows.
•
Beneficiaries receive a 75% subsidy and can get breeds like Sahiwal, Tharparkar, Haryana, Gir, Gaolao, Malvi, Nimari, and Kenkatha.
•
Eligibility requires a minimum of 5 bovine livestock with sufficient agricultural land, or 20+ animals without land.
•
Apply at your nearest veterinary center; animal feed is also provided for the first 60 days.
